If your memory isn’t as good as it used to be or your concentration is flagging and your mind is not so sharp.
You may be another victim of a widespread epidemic of brain drain.
While attending University this often happened to me, I'd be sitting in a lecture while my thoughts refused to focus..
No information seemed to get through.
I began to think I was one of over 4 million people beginning to suffer from age-related memory decline.
Today there is an increased risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease at any stage of life.
The good news is that mental decline is not inevitable and you can boost your memory and mental alertness at any age.
Research shows clearly that healthy, well-nourished and well-educated people (ha ha, we who Blog) show no signs of declining mental function with age.
Brain cells do die with age.
HOWEVER, you can also build new brain cells at any age.
How?
By feeding your brain, with the right nutrients and the right information.
So, keep that brain alert!!
Play brain games...
My mother at 93 still plays and wins at scrabble...
The frontal lobe is involved in conscious thought and higher mental functions such as decision-making.
The pre-frontal cortex plays an important part in processing Short-term memories and retaining Longer term memories which are not task-based.
The parietal lobe also plays a key role in the formation of long-term memory.
By using Multi B vitamins and L-Glutamine or glutamine, watch that memory improve.
These can be bought in any Health Food Shop, Walmart or Supermarket.
L-Glutamine saved me during exam time at Uni, I couldn't believe how alert my brain became..
So, that's my secret shared.
*"For God has not given you a SPIRIT of FEAR!!!
But of POWER, LOVE and a SOUND MIND."
2 Timothy 1:7
