Working in the Heat and Dehydration.

There are many people who work outside in the heat..
Also, there are athletes who compete in the heat.

The body is 75% fluid and when this goes out of balance through dehydration, it can cause severe illness and even death.
The United States came through their hottest time for decades in their last summer.
Now Australia is suffering a similar heat wave.
Since my own son and son-in-law work outside wearing protective clothing, I am well aware of their sufferings.
Below is the required clothing for skin protection from the fierce sun.

Your mouth is dry, you feel dizzy and you have a headache...

Blood Pressure and Drinking Water

I continually tell people to DRINK MORE WATER.
This does not mean to saturate yourself... in hot weather 6-8 glasses per day.
In cool weather, 4-6 glasses per day.

Water is a healer in itself...

Your cells, and there are millions of them all over your body, need oxygen and water.
You need to breath properly, Fresh (not always air conditioned) Air...
The air you breath has only about 19-21% oxygen...
And that oxygen is vital food for your cells to live.

WATER, is also vital..
Water, keeps your blood pressure EVEN.... it BALANCES your body fluids.

HEALTHY LIVER- HEALTY YOU!

Be kind to your liver and give it a rest. An overworked liver means poor health and high cholesterol.

 

TRY THIS FOR A FEW DAYS OR A WEEK AT A TIME.

Consume at least four glasses of pure apple juice a day. Apple juice is a wonderful liver cleanser.

Avoid, animal fat and red meat. Dairy products, fried foods, margarine, soft drinks and commercial oils (canola, corn and sunflower).  Leaven bread.     (Use virgin olive oil.)

Drink six to eight glasses of water a day. With water flowing constantly through your kidneys and liver, it will flush out accumulating toxins. 
*You don’t wash your car or clothes with coffee or soda. 
* Water washes your insides best!!!


Consume lots of nuts, fresh fruits and vegetables. Always eat fruit BEFORE meals to cleanse. Raw food provides live enzymes. These are not found in cooked foods, and are critical in the cleansing process.

Wondering what to eat?

Breakfast: Fresh fruit, oatmeal made with water, pecans, soy milk and sweetened with honey.

Lunch: Fresh fruit, Salad vegetables (Tomato, lettuce, avocado, onion, cucumber, corn, asparagus, raw mushrooms,) with grilled fish.
